About GOinbox

GOinbox is Kiwi's controlled, email-style correspondence product for corrections audiences, with facility review and controls.

It's designed for monitored correctional communications, not as a general consumer email service.

GOinbox operates in a monitored corrections environment — messages and attachments may be reviewed by facility staff per facility policy and applicable law.

Getting started

Four steps to set up your account and send your first message.

Create or receive your account

Depending on the facility, you either register for a GOinbox account or receive credentials from the facility.

Sign in

To access your mailbox, sign in to the GOinbox web interface.

Connect with a contact

Confirm the incarcerated person you're authorized to correspond with, subject to facility approval.

Compose and send

Write your message, attach any allowed files, and send.

Troubleshooting

Quick checks for the most common issues.

Can't sign in
Confirm your email and password. Use the password-reset flow if needed. Make sure your account has been approved or activated by the facility.
Message won't send
Check your internet connection. Confirm the contact is approved and active.
Message delayed
Messages may be held for staff review before delivery. Review timing depends on facility policy.
Can't add a contact
Contact connections require facility approval. Confirm the contact is eligible and approved to correspond with you.
Attachment rejected
Confirm the file type and size are within the facility's allowed limits. Some facilities restrict attachments.
